About Jason R. Breit — Long Island Attorney
We Work With Long Island and New York City Families for Life, Not Just for a Signature
We built this firm because we believe the traditional practice of law is often flawed — designed to escalate conflict, or treat you as a one-time transaction. We do things differently.
Meet Jason R. Breit, Esq.
Jason was born and raised in West Islip, NY, and founded Jason R. Breit, Esq. P.C. on a simple belief: estate planning should help families live a full, meaningful life — not just prepare for death.
Jason is nationally sought out by business owners, real estate investors, physicians, and other successful professionals for his distinct, "out of the box" thinking on financial, estate, and asset protection planning. He combines a formal education in law and business with years of practical, real-world experience.
Jason has been an attorney in New York since 2007. He's a graduate of Roger Williams School of Law (Juris Doctorate), Dowling College Townsend School of Business (Master of Business Administration), and Hamilton College (Bachelor of Arts). He holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation from the American College of Financial Services and is certified by the Corporation for Long Term Care (CLTC). In addition to his law practice, Jason works as a Financial Advisor and has coached other financial advisors — which is exactly why LIFT Planning (Lifestyle, Insurance, Financial, and Tax planning) is built into every plan we prepare, not outsourced to someone else.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help every family we work with pass on more than money. We want you to think of estate planning not as paperwork to check off a list, but as one of the best things you can do to build a full, secure, and meaningful life — for you, and for the people you love.
How We're Different
Here's what a lot of people go through with a traditional attorney, even if they've never said it out loud: you meet once, sign a binder of documents, and file it away — done, checked off the list. Years later, you refinance the house and forget to retitle it into your trust. Your kids grow up and the guardian you named no longer makes sense. A tax law changes, and you assume someone would tell you if it mattered.
It's usually not until something actually happens that your family finds that binder on a shelf and realizes the plan has nothing to do with your life anymore.
That's because the estate planning industry wasn't built with growing, changing families in mind — it was built to serve people in their 70s and 80s preparing for the end of life. We built this firm the opposite way: for busy families raising kids, caring for aging parents, and building a life of prosperity, all at the same time.

Our Core Values
Lifelong Relationships, Not One-Time Transactions
We work with our clients for their entire lives, not just for the day they sign their documents.
Plans That Actually Work When It Matters Most
It's not enough to have good documents — we make sure your plan is properly funded and structured so it functions when your family needs it.
Honest, Fixed Fees
Every fee is agreed to in writing before we start. No hourly billing, no surprises.
Education Over Sales
We'd rather educate you and let you make an informed choice than sell you the most expensive option or the cheapest one.
Planning for Real, Growing Families
Our clients aren't just the wealthy or the elderly — they're families raising kids, caring for parents, and building something for the future, right now.
"I've spent years working alongside financial advisors, and I watched the same thing happen to families over and over: they'd sign an estate plan, put it in a drawer, and never think about it again — until it was too late, and it no longer reflected their life. I swore that would never happen to my own clients. My goal isn't to hand you a stack of documents. It's to be your attorney for life, and to make sure the people you love are genuinely protected, not just legally documented."
— Jason R. Breit, Esq.
